It has been an attempt to answer the question of whether fashion and dance can become one. Over ten years, the fashion gala has raised over 24 million dollars in funding, featuring artists varied as Dries Van Noten, Giles Deacon, Raf Simons, Valentino, Justin Peck, and James Blake – remaining one of the city’s most anticipated cultural events, a showcase of not only what art is at present but what it could be. Artists of all types draw from their respective, often disparate corners in the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and of course, style. Since its inception in 2012, the event has fostered collaborations between designers, choreographers, and musicians.

Any light color latex, such as pink and white, will stain easily. When your garment is not in use we suggest covering any metal (zippers, buckles, eyelets ect.) with tissue paper to avoid staining. AVOID hanging garments with thin straps or on metal hangers. AVOID metal objects, such as coins, belts, and body piercings or copper, brass, and bronze based items. Take off all jewelry when putting on or taking off your garment. AVOID sharp objects, such as long nails and jewelry. Lubricants can seep into seams which can cause the seam to become unbound. DO NOT use oil based lubricants and avoid over shining appliqué details. Store garment on a plastic hanger in a dark plastic bag in a cool, shaded, dry place. Once the garment is completely dry, inside and out, powder the inside with talc powder. Let garment soak in a tub full of water with a small drop of viviclean. For tight fitting garments, use a light coat of dressing aid or shiner. 
Use talc powder to coat the inside of the garment.
